All members of staff and volunteers take our responsibility to keep children safe very seriously. We have designated persons who oversee this task and our policies are kept up to date. All staff are given a copy of ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ and are regularly trained to ensure all staff are up to date in their understanding of their responsibilities and protocol for meeting these. We believe that all those who come into contact with children and families in their everyday work, including those who do not have a specific role in relation to safeguarding children, have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
