David Attenborough was born on 8 May 1926 in Isleworth, Middlesex and grew up in College House on the campus of the University of Leicester where his father, Frederick, was principal. Attenborough developed a passion for natural history at a young age and became a renowned British broadcaster, natural historian, and writer, celebrated for his groundbreaking work in wildlife documentaries and his advocacy for environmental conservation.
